We are seeking a talented individual to join our Career Communication team at Mercer. This role will be based anywhere in the U.S. a Mercer office is located, as this is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.
The Client-Facing Employee Communications Specialist crafts clear, targeted employee communications-synthesizing information and data, writing and editing materials for digital and print channels, implementing communication plans, and ensuring quality and accuracy across deliverables. You will partner with change-management and communication consultants, HR subject-matter experts, and external vendors to deliver client-facing HR communications.
We will count on you to:
Effectively synthesize information or data to craft clear and concise narratives that support project objectives
Draft, review and/or edit communication materials for targeted audiences, including writing for digital communication platforms
Implement communication strategies and work plans by creating project deliverables guided by change management and communication consultants
Provide quality assurance, manage and incorporate edits from reviewers(internal, client, vendors) ensuring quality and accuracy of content for all deliverables
What you need to have:
Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, English, Writing, Marketing, oral related Liberal Arts major
At least 3 years' experience writing content using both creativity and factual accuracy
Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills - with the ability to tailor approach by audience
Ability to solve problems in a team-oriented business environment
Flexibility, adaptability and the ability to manage multiple projects and work under tight deadlines
Superior organizational skills and strong attention to detail
Working knowledge of MS Office applications

Marsh is committed to hybrid work, which includes the flexibility of working remotely and the collaboration, connections and professional development benefits of working together in the office. All Marsh colleagues are expected to be in their local office or working onsite with clients at least three days per week. Office-based teams will identify at least one "anchor day" per week on which their full team will be together in person.
The applicable base salary range for this role is $50,400 to $100,800.
The base pay offered will be determined on factors such as experience, skills, training, location, certifications, education, and any applicable minimum wage requirements. Decisions will be determined on a case-by-case basis. In addition to the base salary, this position may be eligible for performance-based incentives.
