Description
We are seeking a talented individual to join our Casualty Department team at Marsh. This role will be based in Los Angeles. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.You will be part of a dynamic team responsible for managing casualty insurance programs, leading client engagements, and driving strategic risk management solutions. This role involves mentoring team members, overseeing workload distribution, and ensuring high-quality client deliverables.
We will count on you to:
- Train, mentor, and oversee performance management for the casualty department team.
- Coordinate and manage team workload to ensure appropriate staffing that meets client needs.
- Manage and oversee proposals to existing and prospective clients, leading key client meetings.
- Maintain a comprehensive understanding of clients' strategic priorities, risk strategies, and risk management needs to provide tailored advice.
- Utilize extensive risk expertise and industry knowledge to review client exposures and develop complex solutions, including recommending additional products and services.
- Oversee the development, presentation, and execution of renewal and placement strategies in collaboration with Placement, Advisory Leaders, and Client Executives.
- Ensure quality and accuracy in all client deliverables.
- Engage in senior-level client interactions, demonstrating expertise in problem-solving, coverage areas, and relationship management.
- Act as a thought leader within and outside the company, staying informed on evolving risk and insurance market conditions.
What you need to have:
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in insurance, with extensive experience in broking casualty programs, including alternative risk financing mechanisms and captive utilization.
- Proven leadership experience with a history of building and managing high-performing teams.
- Experience leading complex RFPs and strategic pursuits involving senior leadership.
- Strong understanding of insurance products, services, client relationship management, financial data analysis, and project planning.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

The applicable base salary range for this role is $154,200 to $328,400.
The base pay offered will be determined on factors such as experience, skills, training, location, certifications, education, and any applicable minimum wage requirements. Decisions will be determined on a case-by-case basis. In addition to the base salary, this position may be eligible for performance-based incentives.
