Company History
BXS Insurance started in 1999 when BancorpSouth made its first insurance acquisition. Over time, BancorpSouth has continued to grow BXS Insurance by acquiring prestigious top agencies throughout the South-Central United States with roots dating back to 1882. While the agencies may have their own unique histories, they all come together to champion an environment that includes attracting, developing and retaining the most talented professionals in the field.
Today, BXS Insurance is one of the top agencies in the nation. We attract and retain a long list of distinguished clients worldwide by our capabilities, developing specialized programs and following our constant desire to improve. It’s our ongoing desire to see our clients succeed that has kept us growing and thriving throughout the years.
